Nice So Why?
Michael Messner
I'm 33 and I think
I'm a pretty handsome guy. I'm successful and I live in Hollywood in a big
beautiful home. This girl I went out with was very attractive, 5'6",
brunette, blue eyes, flawless skin, tall and petite. She was very
intelligent, and resembles a very pretty famous actress. She's in her 30's
and has never been married. She lives near me in my neighborhood. I was
the well brought up boy, treated her like a princess, well mannered,
dressed good and a polite gentleman. I met her at the grocery store and
waited about a week to call her. The very first date was a walk on the
nice warm beach, and a meal at an inexpensive restaurant with a great view
of the ocean. I have a new Beemer, but I picked her up in my old clean
87'chevy pickup truck.
Second round
Six days later I had planned dinner at an Italian restaurant and then a
movie. I paid for everything. I ripped up her phone number when she
refused to give me a kiss after that second date. All my male friends were
telling me that I was crazy for getting rid of her.
I was bitched on so much that I finally, looked her up in the phone book.
But I waited a full month to call her. I thought of it like this, if I'm a
challenge then she might budge. I told her that we should meet meet at the
free music concerts for a quick bit to eat and some great music. She
refused. She said that she wasn't into the kind of music that they were
going to be playing at the concerts.
The blasting
I ran into her
tonight at the corner store. We were both by ourselves ,so I decided to go
up and say hello.Did she ever give it it me! She kept talking and talking
and didn't let me say a word. She called me "cheap" and said that I "had
no interest in making women happy". She had also said that I didn't know
how to treat a woman and she's never dated a guy like me.She said to me
that she expects to men she dates to spend lots of money on her not to see
how stingy he can be. She said that she was used to having man treat her
with respect, not cheap like how I had treated her. She had the nerve to
tell me that if I was a real man that I would have bought her flowers,
gifts and lavished her. I was a great looking guy but she said that I
would never meet anyone with this attitude.
She recommended a
book for me to read and "learn" from. Well,
she's has called me cheap many times by this time I thought "lets get her
back". I asked to borrow her book instead of buying my own. She responded
"No, it's only $5.99 . I then asked if I could borrow $5.99 and she just
gave me this death look. But then she started at me again. "On our first
date, you spent less than $7 on me. And the date after that at the Mexican
restaurant and the movie? You spent less than $20 on me that
night. I called all my girlfriends and at work the next day, I told all my
co-workers how you insulted me. None of them had heard of such a thing!"
